Can a human join the Tau?
The T’au also promise that all Humans will be allowed to enjoy the freedom of religion, so long as the practice of that faith does not conflict with the Greater Good. O’Shovah, or Commander Farsight as he is known in the Imperium, gave these Humans the option of joining the T’au Empire, an offer that most accepted.
Are Tau good or bad?
The Tau are often seen as being a ‘good’ race, but they are not. Granted, they might be the one race that is closest to what we percieve as ‘good’, but they show now mercy or pity towards those who disagree with their philosophy, & the ‘choice’ they give to other races is no real choice at all.
Can the Imperium destroy Tau?
Edit: to clarify, the Tau are probably the only opponent the Imperium could completely destroy, based on the Tau’s space travel technology and currently how few Tau there are. As they cannot navigate the warp due to lack of psykers, they can only do short hops that take longer overall to travel the same distance.
Why do the Tau have no warp presence?
Their souls are weak, and they have no psychic abilities. That means no Navigators to use the warp for travel so they using something called an Ether Drive, which basically skims the warp’s surface to get around.

Are Tau stronger than humans?
Physical strength and size varies between the Tau castes with the Fire Caste being the strongest of their kind, roughly the size and slightly weaker than an average baseline human because the Tau homeworld has gravity slightly weaker than that of Terra. Only two female Tau have ever been reported.
What are Tau good at?
The Tau by and large are fairly one dimensional. They’re very good at ranged combat, or they’re very good at melee combat, but they seldom seem to be good at both, or even sorta decent at both. A Fire Warrior team for example can mow stuff down at range, but if they get into melee with them they’re kinda screwed.

As a major game faction, the Tau are here to stay thanks to Games Workshop’s corporate balance sheets (same as the other factions… same as the Imperium, the biggest faction of them all.)
