The MiniNova does output MIDI data from its controls but it should not primarily be considered a Control Surface. The onboard MiniNova controls will output CC messages and its keys will send standard MIDI note Messages.

- Create a MIDI clip on the MIDI channel.
- Click on the clip to edit it.
- Under ‘Notes’ at the bottom of the screen use the Sub-Bank and Program boxes to select bank and patch.
