Does laticrete Permacolor grout need sealing?
PERMACOLOR® Select does not require sealing, however, if even greater protection is desired, the following STONETECH products listed below may be used. Note – for maximum stain protection and performance, use SPECTRALOCK® PRO Premium Grout.

What is the difference between Grout and sanded Grout?
The difference between sanded and unsanded grout is that sanded grout has sand in it while unsanded grout does not have sand in it. Sand in the grout reinforces the grout to make it much stronger and less likely to crack. Unsanded grout will have a smoother texture while sanded grout will have a rougher more grainy, rough texture to it.
Can I use unsanded grout on floor tiles?
Most tile applications, such as floors and countertops, require sanded grout, especially when using ceramic tile. However, unsanded grout is easier to apply on vertical walls such as backsplashes and bathtub surrounds.
