Generally speaking, most federations allow for 2.5m in length and ~3” in width. 2.5m knee wraps commonly allow a lifter to squat 25-75lbs more than they otherwise could.

If the lifter makes the weight class they selected on their card, they are done and cannot return later to make a lower weight. If they do not make weight, they can return as many times as necessary, or until the last session closes.

The rulebook states that a lifter cannot use “elbow sleeves, knee wraps, knee sleeves, tape applied around a limb or finger, supportive lifting suit, supportive briefs, compression shorts, supportive shirts or compression shirts”.
Does Usapl allow sumo deadlift?
Yes, sumo deadlifting is allowed in all powerlifting competitions, regardless of federation or class. In fact, it’s a more common style of deadlift among lighter weight class categories.
