How do I add music to my EFI live?
Open the EFI Live V8 Explorer Program (icon will be on your Desktop). On the “F3: Data Files” tab it should have an EFILive folder, Scan folder, Tune folder, and Read folder (just to the right of the multi-colored triangle at the bottom left of the window). Now click on the ‘Tune Folder’.
Does EFI Live come with tunes?
Premium Member. EFILive is just a software that takes the ECM parameters and enables “you” or a “tuner”(person that manipulates the parameters) to change them and flash them back into the ECM. EFILive does not build performance tunes or even tune them selfs. The only provide the software.

Can EFI Live read codes?
With efi live deletes there will be no codes, emission components get turned off, or removed from the trucks brain. Just make sure to tell your tuner exactly you want done.
How does EFILive switch work?
The DSP2 switch works by switching the voltage level at an ECM pin. The ECM monitors the voltage to determine which program you wish to run. When the switch is open, the ECM will use the factory maps, when the switch is closed (grounded) the ECM will use the DSP2 tables.
