How do you treat BJD?
Bovine Johne’s (pronounced ‘yo-nees’) disease is a fatal wasting disease of cattle, goats, alpaca and deer caused by a chronic bacterial infection. There is no treatment for BJD. While certain antibiotics may provide some temporary relief, infected cattle will inevitably die.

How do you get rid of brown jelly on charcoal?
Run newer charcoal, if the problems persist you might think about a UV. Thanks for chemistry. I’ve had success (with an acan), sucking off the brown jelly with a turkey baster or such tool, then covering the infected area (and then some) with coral glue. As the acan recovered and grew, it eventually shed the glue patch.
What is the brown jelly coming off my Hammerhead?
I recently had a hammer head infested and died, it released brown jelly that killed some sps established in my tank… I was told it must be protozoan since that stuff came off euphyllia and to use lugo iodine, to dip and treat infested areas…along with using uv light (been used for years) to prevent the spread.
