What size gobo do I need?
Generally speaking, the more detailed you want your image to be, the larger gobo you’ll want to purchase. As gobos get smaller in size, the amount of intricacy they can display diminishes. This is especially true for metal gobos as it is very hard to fit intricate art onto image diameters smaller than 32mm image size.
How thick is a steel gobo?
They are made of stainless steel or aluminum. Since the artwork is etched out of metal (light shines through the cut area), metal gobos can be used only for simple artworks. Thickness 0.2mm.
