Capital Radio has axed controversial DJ Bam Bam just nine months after he joined the GCap Media-owned London station. Bam Bam – real name Peter Poulton – joined Capital in March. He and sidekick Streetboy took over the weekday evening slot between 7pm to 10pm, promising “great banter and unmissable wind-ups”.
