Why is my cooker hood light not working?
There are several reasons for your cooker hood’s light not to work. The hood light bulb may be defective or may have blown. If the bulb’s glass is dark, it has probably blown and needs to be replaced. Unplug your appliance before replacing the light bulb.
Do Rangehoods have fuses?
If the vent hood is not plugged into a wall outlet, check the home circuit breakers or fuses. To determine if the thermal fuse has blown, use a multimeter to test the fuse for continuity. If the thermal fuse does not have continuity, replace it. The main control board might be defective.
Why has my extractor hood stopped working?
If your extractor isn’t working it could most likely be the motor which has broken and will undoubtedly require replacing. Often it can actually be the ventilation itself preventing the extractor performing properly.
Why are my cooker hood lights flashing?
This usually means that the transformer either is not large enough or not compatible with your LED bulbs. It could also be a problematic bulb or socket, so before replacing the transformer, try the bulbs in different sockets and see if its still always adding the 4th bulb in the same location that causes the issue.
How do I know if my cooker hood is working?
A suction test can be done by checking that the air outlet at the top of the cooker hood is working properly. An easy way to do this is to get a banknote or light piece of paper, and hold it up to the grease filter grill (the part with holes on it). This is found on the underside of the cooker hood.

How do I reset my CDA cooker hood?
After rinsing and drying, replace the filters. After the grease filters has been replaced, the electronic memory must be reset by touching key A for approximately five seconds, until the letter A stops flashing.
